A. Parenting Classes
—You Make the Difference – designed for parents of children birth -5 yo
—Raising Highly Capable Kids – Teaches parents of kids who are 5-18 the 40 developmental assets that have been identified as essential to help young people grow up healthy, caring, and responsible
B. Educational and Life Skills Classes
—Budgeting classes
—Health and nutrition classes
—Literacy for adults
—GED and Job skills classes
(We partner with local colleges and businesses to provide these.)
C. Parent/Child Events
These are events where the parent works directly with his/her own child in a group setting to learn how to support him/her in his/her educational needs
D. Tutoring
We have tutors for parents and children who are struggling with reading.
E. Mentor
A mentor will walk alongside you as you work on your own educational needs and job skills, and learn to support your child/children in their education as well.
F. Year-End Family Weekend Camp
We want to celebrate with all the families who have worked hard throughout the year.
